Amazing experience! Went purely because of the membership exchange month (September) and left looking at the military family membership 👀 Because it was very worth it. We caught the final week of the Butterfly 🦋 House [Father's Day until end of September] and it was a gem 💎 Soooo much walking so wear the right shoes 👟 The map was helpful and needed for me. I think it's a great thing to add into routine. Monthly visit for family and those very nearby could use it as daily walking ground. Saw a wedding being set up and proceed with a great private setting. Awesome viewing points, lots of information and labels. The best part are the people who work here (and volunteer) the grounds are well cared for by very nice people. Rushed home for naps but the 2 hours in park barely made a dent and will be back to explore more. Stroller friendly areas (did find difficulty going to the left garden area?) A must see for a nature lover with a wide range of plants, shrub and trees 🌳 and for an active local get the membership!

Before leaving the gardens check out the top of the hill and listen to air traffic control at ORF and see the sculptures at the top of the hill as well.

Excellent place to visit for whole family ! Plenty of benches throughout to stop and rest, play area for children, wide walk ways and so many different plants ( some in bloom) and trees Also Butterfly exhibit and NATO exhibit
